Outside:
- Chemical odours coming from the building

Inside:
- Laboratory glassware and equipment
- Containers with clear liquid in them with a chalky coloured solid on the bottom
- Containers with two layered liquids in them
- Baking dishes containing white crystalline substance
- Hot plates near chemicals

Safety considerations for clan labs
A
- Leave the area immediately
- Never touch, taste or smell any chemicals
- Do not attempt to stop the chemical reaction, or turn any electrical devices such as lights or fans on or off.
- Do not shut off water supply to the house
- Do not use radios or cellphones
