- immediatley remove persons of interest from property
- isolate the site and maintain safety perimeter
- preserve the crime scene
- notify duty inspector or NCO, ambos and fire
- seek advice from clan response team member or fire for decontamination
- keep occupants and staff seperate until decontamination adressed

- dont stop chemical reactions, or turn any devices off
- dont shut off water supply
- dont smoke nearby clan labs
- dont use radios, torchs or tools that cause sparks or friction
- dont re-enter premises

explain the 90 second rule
A
This rule assumes that if offender(s) are present and moving in the lab then the atmosphere will sustain life. It assumes that the IET (wearing the minimum level of PPE for the IET) may safely enter and extract suspects of up to 90 seconds.

12 things to do CYP located in clanlab
A
- Remove CYP from immediate scene
- Assign OC CYP to look after and monitor them
- Assess for injury, illness or respiratory distress etc. If the CYP needs immediate medical attention ensure that the medical facility is notified of the contamination issue prior to admission
- Request CYF attend the scène
- Distribute PPR and decon kit for each CYP
- Most appropriate decontamination of the CYP
- Photograph the CYP at the scene
- Record physical condition and any injuries
- Record mental state of CYP
- Consider swabbing CYP for chemical residue which must be included in search warrant
- Secure clothing worn by CYP and exhibit
- Prelim interview of CYP

- Basic health questions – headaches, nausea, breathing difficulties, dissiness, fatigue, etc
- Details of occupants
- Details of other CYPS that live there (siblings)
- Sleeping arrangements
- Playing and eating areas
- School or preschool days
- Name of the CYPS doctor
- Knowledge of drug, manufacturing and dealing activities
