- Laboratory glassware, equipment and documents
- containers with clear liquid with chalk colourd bottom
- containers with two-layered liquids in them
- baking dishes containg crystalline substances
- hotplate near chemicals

Saftey when locating clan lab
A
- Leave immediately and remove people (if safe)
- isolate the site and maintain safe distance
- preserve the crime scene
- Do not handle, touch, move, disconnect, deactivate, opperate anything.
- Do not smoke
- keep people who entered separate until decontaminated.

Signs of exposure to clan lab
A
- headache
- watery or burning eyes
- nausea
- burning skin
- coughing or choking
- pain in diaphragm
- feeling cold/weak
- shortness of breath / dizzy
- decrease in cognitive function

Inital action when CYP at Clan Lab
A
- Remove child from scene
- assign officer to look after and monitor CYP
- Provision of age appropriate explanations
- Assesment of CYP by medical staff

A
- Flame retardant overalls
- Chimical and flame resistant coveralls
- boots
- fire resistant gloves

- APR’s with filters

90 second rule
A
Assumes if offenders are present and moving inside, then the atmosphere will sustain life.
The entry team wearing minimum PPE may safely enter and extract perople for up to 90 seconds.

A

- A danger to the environment or chattles so significant that immediate in requiered to remove the danger
