CL Flashcards

1
Q

If a lens is riding low what will raise the lens up?

A

Increase diameter
Minus carrier lenticular
Flatten peripheral curve

(If you increase the center thickness it will make it heavier and lower the lens more)

Q

Lens rides low

A

Increase diameter

Thinner lens (if high Rx use lenticular or minus carrier lens)

Flatten peripheral curve: Increase edge lift so lens can interact with lid and raise up

BC- flatten
