A
At risk of CKD (screen 1-2 yearly)
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Established CVD
- Family hx kidney failure
- Obesity
- Smoking
- ATSI > 30 years

1. Blood test - eGFR
2. Urine test - Urine ACR (early morning)
3. BP check

CKD Definition
A
- An eGFR <60mL/min/1.73m2 that is present > 3 months with or without evidence of kidney damage
- Evidence of kidney damage with or without decreased eGFR present for > 3 months as evidenced by
- albuminuria
- haematuria - after exclusion of urological causes
- structural abnormalities - imaging
- pathological abnormalities (renal biopsy)

CKD screening results
A
- EGFR < 60
- repeat eGFR in 7 days
- if still reduced than repeat eGFR twice within 3 months - Elevated Urine ACR
- male >2.5
- female >3.5
- repeat urine ACR twice within 3 months - first morning void
- min 2 out of 3 elevated urine ACRs present for > 3 months
