What was the Civil Rights Movement?
A movement led to end racial discrimination and to make sure everyone (no matter their color or gender) was treated fairly.
What was the Brown V. BOE?
A supreme court case that attempted to integrate schools after Linda Brown had to walk miles to a black school instead of the one a few blocks down that was “White Only”. The Supreme court ruled it was unconstitutional.

What was the 1956 Sibley Commission?
A committee that listed peoples thoughts on desegregation and attempted to integrate. They found that schools would rather close than integrate and let them choose instead.
