First Amendment
Freedom of the press, religion, assembly, speech and petition the government
Second Amendment
`Protects the rights to carry and bear arms
Third Amendment
No citizen should be forced to quarter soldiers in their homes
Fourth Amendment
Prohibits unreasonable arrests and searched
Fifth Amendment
Provides for the rights of persons accused of a crime
Sixth Amendment
Right to be informed of charges, a speedy trial, a jury, a lawyer, face people against you, call your witnesses
Seventh Amendment
Provides for jury trials in civil cases
Eighth Amendment
Sets limitations on bail and punishments
Ninth Amendment
States people have other rights that are not addressed in the constitution
Tenth Amendment
Says all powers not given to the federal government are kept by the states or the people
