He got brutally tortured and killed for whistling a white woman. He then became a symbol for the Civil Rights Movement

She refused to give up her seat on a bus for a white person.

Martin Luther King Junior was a Political leader for the Civil rights movement. Hey was famous for his nonviolent tactics and his speech “I have a dream”

a civil rights protest during which African Americans refused to ride city buses in Montgomery, Alabama, to protest segregated seating
