Not a state. A subject to the u.s government but has looser ties to the nation than the states have.
Protectorates
Small countries that the untied states protected from rival nations.
Commonwealth
A territory that has its own constitution and a government that gets power from the u.s congress.
Landform
A natural feature on earths surface.
