Arteries vs Veins
A
Arteries carry oxygenated blood. They have thick walls. They carry blood away from the heart. Has. Small lumen, the place where blood flows through. High pressure. Deep and protected under the skin.
Veins carry deoxygenated blood to the heart. Has a large lumen. Low pressure. Close to the surface of the skin.
