2 Definitions for frame
The Rectangular boundary of the image

Aspect Ratio
The ratio of the horizontal boundary of the frame to the vertical boundary of the frame.

On-Screen Space
The Space that is seen inside the frame
Off-screen space
The space that can’t be seen in the frame, but may be inferred from what is taking place onscreen.
Close-Up
Generally, a shot of a character from the shoulders to the top of the head
Medium Shot
A shot of a character from the hips to the top of the head
Full Shot
A shot of a character from feet to the top of the head
Long Shot
A shot in which the subject is taken at a significant distance from the camera, depending on context it could mean a group shot or a shot of a building/structure.
Extreme Close Up
A shot of a character’s eyes or part of face
Extreme Long Shot
Generally, a landscape shot, sometimes with small figures in the distance.
Two Shot
A shot with two characters in it
