What’s a FAP?
The door status and smoke detector page. Tells you whether doors are open/closed or armed/disarmed.
What colour will the smoke detector page go if smoke detector activated?
Red
Where’s the CIDS caution light?
Top left hand corner
What colour will it illuminate if there’s an issue?
It will flash/illuminate amber
If you are on the ground and the fault on the CIDS couldn’t be fixed who should you inform?
FC and engineers
What should you do if the fault couldn’t be fixed?
Fill out the CDL
What will happen if the CIDS caution light flashes in floght?
FSM will:
-Read the error message-
-Report it in CDL
-Inform all crew
After all cabin secure checks are done what will the FSM do?
Press the cabin ready button to notify the flight crew
Where is the FAP located on the A350?
L1 and L4
What does it mean if red is showing on the doors and slides page?
Door is open
What does it mean if amber is showing on the doors and slides page?
Door is opened and disarmed OR armed with a fault
What does it mean if green is shown on the doors and slides page?
Door is closed and armed
What’s the AAP?
-controls lights
-it can mute audible and visible smoke detector activation
Where is the AAP on the A350?
At L2,L3, ALL crew rest areas
What’s the AIP?
Attendant Indication Panel
On the A350 when you see a red notification what will this indicate?
