A

Describe the Atlanta Race Massacre.

A

When fake stories about African-Americans harassing white civilians were posted on newspapers causing an angry mob to rise up and start attacking blacks. The militia had to disperse the angry mob of whites. This led to a compromise that would segregate blacks and whites.
