Method to determine Kc experimentally

A

Measure out starting quantities accurately

Leave to reach Eqb, with a catalyst if appt

Control and measure temperature (water bath) as it affect Kc and Eqb position

After suitable time period (eg 1 week) pipette out a sample

Determine amount of 1 substance present (eg titrate, measure pH, use calorimetry)

Use this value to find moles and then conc of all other species present

Calculate Kc
