What is purgatory?
A place to be made pure of sin after death
What is heaven?
A place of joy and where God is. People can go there after death.
What is hell?
A place of punishment and suffering. Non believers and unrepentant sinners go there.

No. The church buiilding would have been very noisy and with lots of people

Bible scenes showing great men and women of the past, and showing God’s glory.

No. Only the rich and most educated could ead. Many people could not.

In the shape of a cross. The priest stayed at the top end, while the common people were in the bottom part (called the nave)

What was an indulgence?
You pay the church and it says that you are released from hell and purgatory

He was concerned about the sale of indulgences, how the church was so rich and still take money for poor, corrupt priest, that common people couldn’t understand the mass.
