What word (in Hebrew) is used to describe how Bnei Yisrael came out of Egypt?
חמושים
According to Rashi, why does it matter that the Land of the Pelishtim is close to Egypt
BECAUSE IT WAS NEAR, and it would therefore be easy to return by the same route to Egypt. — And there are many Midrashic explanations.
The word ‘חמושים’ is unclear. What does it mean in our פסוק?
Rashi’s answer is: Armed, with weapons.
What is another way to understand the term ‘חמושים’?
Only a fifth of the Jews left Egypt. 4/5 Jews died during the plague of darkness (the three days of super thick darkness) because they were unworthy of being redeemed.

Collecting Yosef bones.
What did Yosef make his brothers swear to him before he died?
That when they would leave Egypt they would take his bones with them and bring them to Eretz Yisrael.
Where did Bnei Yisrael leave from?
Sukkot
Where did they go to?
Eitam
Why does the Torah use the double expression “השבע השביע” instead of just saying השביע?
Because Yosef made his brothers swear that they would make their children swear, so two oaths took place.
Why didn’t יוסף make his brothers swear that they would bury him in the Land of Israel immediately after he died like יעקב made יוסף swear?
Yosef said: I was a ruler in Egypt and I had sufficient power to do what my father desired; but my sons — the Egyptians will not permit them to do this.
