What do you do in a Chromotography experiment?
A
Draw a pencil line on your Chromotography paper. Roll the paper around a splint and use a paper clip to secure it.Draw some ink dots on the pencil line. Pour the solvent (ethanol or water) into the glass so that it just touches below the line. Place the lid on top.

Why do the spots separate out?
A
The spots seperate out as some of them or less/more soluble than others.

What is the stationary phase and mobile phase?
A
The paper is the stationary phase and the solvent is the mobile phase.
