what does omnipotent mean
the belief that god is all powerful
what does omniscient mean
the belief that god is all knowing and all seeing
what does benevolent mean
the belief that god is all loving
what is the definition of just
this refers to the nature of god as one who treats each individual human being fairly and equally
what is the definition of the trinity
the belief that there are three persons in the one god. the father, son and the holy spirit are separate, but are also one being
Jesus calms the sea
it is a biblical story where Jesus saves the disciples ad himself by calming the sea during a storm
what is moral evil
when someone chooses to be evil. for example: murder
what is natural evil
it is like a natural disaster which is not done on purpose, like a hurricane or tsunami
what is the inconsistent triad
it is the fact that god cannot be benevolent and omnipotent at the same time as evil existing
why would god allow evil
some reasons are;
-for balance
-freewill
-Adam and Eve
-the devil
-a test to see if we are worthy of heaven
-no powerful/loving enough to stop it

day 2 - God created the sky
day 3 - God created the land/sea/plants
day 4 - God created the sun/moon/stars
day 5 - God created the fish/birds
day 6 - God created the animals/people
day 7 - God rests
what is the fall
it is when the snake convinced Adam and Eve to eat the apple. by doing this they disobeyed god. after this, god makes them suffer
What is Maundy Thursday
this is when Jesus had his last supper with his disciples and predicts he will be arrested and one of them will betray him
what is incarnation
literally in flesh, or enfleshed, the doctrine that god took the human form as Jesus
Good Friday
this is the day jesus was arrested
