the prayer said by most Christians
they believe that Jesus gave them the words of the prayer

a ritual that is an outward physical showing of something that is happening spiritually

the rituail thorugh which people become members of the church
What does baptism involve?
water poured over the head of the person being baptised
symoblises sin being washed away and a person enerting the faith clean
What is the difference between Traditional baptism and believers baptism?
traditon: infant, organised by parents, removes original sin
believers: teen/adults, choice made themselves, want past sins to be washed away
What is the holy communoin?
sacrament that involves bread and wine to celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and his ressurection
Why is bread and wine used in the holy communion?
Jesus used them at the Last Supper

thanking Jesus for sacrifice

What is reconciliation?
restoring peace when relations between people or groups have broken down

it is the main aim of the Church
