-Death and Resurrection-
Resurrection:

Ascension:

A

Coming back to life after death, dying, then rising. It can refer to the resurrection of Jesus and also to the resurrection of souls of people at death and at the end of the world. Some believe it is the soul and others believe it is the body which rises from the dead.

This is Jesus’ departure from Earth into the presence of God in heaven. Christians believe this happened 40 days after his resurrection.
