What do Christians believe about God?
There is only one god
God is the creator and sustainer of all that exists
People can have a relationship with God through prayer

creator of life, acts as a good father towards his children. He is omnipresent, omnibenevolent, omnipotent
What is the Genesis belief about creation?
Christians believe the creation story contains religious truth.
God made the world in 6 days
God continues to create new life today
The holy spirit was active in the creation even though it is referred as god the father
What is Jesus Crucifixion?
Because Jesus was human he suffered pain and horror
Roman guards made sure Jesus was killed
Jesus was buried in a cave like a tomb and they rolled in a large
stone to block the entrance
Burial was rushed because sabbath was about to begin
What is Resurrection?
Sunday morning Jesus female followers including Mary Magdalene visited the tomb to anoint Jesus body but it was not there
Either a man or two men who may have been angels told the women to spread the news Jesus had been risen from dead
Over the next few days Jesus appeared to several people
What is Ascension?
After meeting with his disciples and asking them to carry his work, Jesus left them for the last time returning to the farther in heaven

What are the Christian views about resurrection?
Some believe a persons soul is resurrected soon after death
Other Christians believe the dead will be resurrected at some time in the future when Jesus will return to judge everyone who has ever lived
Some Christians said resurrection is spiritual
What is the belief of Afterlife?
Beliefs
resurrected and receive eternal life after they die
This is a gift from God and dependent on faith in God
They will be judged by god and will be either rewarded and sent to heaven or punished and sent to hell
What is Judgement?
After they die god will judge them on their behaviour and action during their lifetime as well as their faith in Jesus as Gods son
Parable of sheep and goat describes how God will judge people
“No one comes to the farther except through me”
What is heaven?
Heaven is thought to be either a physical place or spiritual state of peace and joy and chance to be with loved ones
What is Hell?
A state of existence without God
place of eternal torment
Hell would then be what awaits someone who did not acknowledge God through their life
What is Salvation?
Saved from sin, repairs the damage
salvation can come through doing good works or through grace
Christians believe its the holy spirit who gives grace to Christians and guides them
What are christian belief about Atonement?
Removes the effect of sin and allows people to restore their relations with god
Many Christians believe that through the sacrifice of his death Jesus took the sins of all humanity on himself and he paid the debt. He atoned for the sins of humanity
Who is God the son in the trinity?
became incarcerate through Jesus who was both fully human and god on earth. Jesus is the son of god to show his special relationship to god the father.
Who is God the holy spirit in the trinity?
unseen power of god who influences, guides and sustains the earth.
