A branch of Christianity who agree on the central belief that the Bible is the only authority for Christianity
What is the meaning of the word Orthodox?
A branch of Christianity mainly practiced in Eastern Europe.
What is the meaning of denomination?
A distinct group within the Christian faith, with its own organisation and traditions.
What is the meaning of God?
The perfect supreme being
What is the meaning of the word monotheistic?
Only one God who is believed to have created and sustains all that exists.
What is the meaning of the word holy?
Something set apart from everything else for a special purpose, and worthy of worship.
What qualities does God possess?
He has the qualities of omnipotence, omnibenevolence and omniscience
What does omnipotent mean?
all-powerful
What does omnibenevolence mean?
all loving
what does omniscience mean?
all knowing
What is the Inconsistent triad?
This is that god has omnipotence, omni-benevolence and omni-science but evil still exists. This creates a problem because if God is all knowning then he knows about the evil, if he is all loving he would want to stop the evil and if he was all powerful then he would have the power to stop the evil.

This is evil such as natural disasters and diseases. It is evil that naturally occurs.
