Conservative Christians condemn homosexuality. This is because they believe that it breaks the covenant relationship between God and his people Leviticus states ‘ if a man lies with another man as with a women, they have both committed an abomination, and shall be sentenced to death’. Therefore they believe that it would break the bond between God and his people. In the New testament, St Paul uses homosexuality to illustrate gentile depravity in Rome and also argues that not only does it go against natural moral law, it also goes against our conscience

Liberal Christians accept homosexuality. this is because they believe that God is a God of many sexuality’s and we are part of God. Genesis ‘made in my image’ Therefore, they believe that if they were to discriminate against homosexuals they would be discriminating against God. They believe that God has a plan for all of us and is omniscient and omni-benevolent and would not want us to be discriminated against. they also believe that when the bible is interrupted in its historical and sociological context, it is does not condemn homosexual practices itself, therefore, we should not condemn homosexual relationships.

Roman Cathpolics

Roman Catholics accept homosexuality itself, however it condemns homosexual relationships. This is because they believe that you can not control your thoughts and what you think, however, they believe that you can control what you do with your thoughts and therefore you should not practice homosexuality.
