Explain two ways that the belief of creation influences Christians
To care for the environment as god cared for it and made the world good (it’s their job to care for his creation)
-To treat others with respect, god created Adam and Eve and all other humans in his image and therefore there should be no superiors.
Two beliefs about the ascension of jesus
-Jesus gave his followers an important final commandment. Eg, the bible states ‘forth and make disciples of all nations’. Suggest Christians should convert others
-Comforts them knowing Jesus is alive and. With god in heaven

Christians believe that everybody should be treated the same as they are all created in the ‘image of god’s irrespective of their gender
The bible says when they are baptised they all become part of one body ‘the body of Christ’

-At Paul’s taught that ‘women should remain silent in churches they are not allowed to speak in churches, they are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says.
-when god created Adam and Eve he said ‘no man should be alone I shall create a fitted helper for him’ meaning Adam was her superior
Role of parents in the family
Teach children the way of the bible “train your child in the way they should go”
Role of children in the family
“honour thow father and mother”

Why are most Catholics against most forms of contreception
Because it is unnatural and the bible states “be fruitful and multiply”
One reason protestants accept contreception
If pregnancy could affect the health of the women (Eg, if she’s ill)

Family planning
Why is marriage sacred
Marriage is in god’s plan
“What god has put together let no man separate”
Divorce ✅
“treat others how you would want to be treated” and “love thy neighbour” both suggest that divorce and remarriage should be allowed if it is the most loving thing to do for a couple

-Sacred “let what god has put together may no man separate”
-Permanent “until death do us part”
-Exclusive “thou shalt not commit adultery” “two become one flesh”
-Life giving “go forth and multiply”
How does creation influence Christians
Christians would care / take care of the world as it is created by God.
