Jesus who had never sinned died as a sacrifice, taking the blame for all the sin anyone has ever done or will do. His body was checked to make sure he was dead by the Romans and then laid in a tomb with guards stationed there to make sure his disciples didn’t try to steal the body. However, on the third day, when some women who followed Jesus went to anoint his body, the stone was rolled away and the tomb was empty
