Where can you do worship
they can worship alone or with others, in church, in peoples home or anywhere appropriate.
What is worship
this is a way the Christians show their deep love, reverence and respect for god.
How can you do worship
it involves prayer, meditation, bible reading, singing hymns, preaching, sharing food, pilgrimage, celebrating festivals or art, drama, music.
why do you do worship
it allows Christians to praise and thank god for his blessings, to ask for forgiveness of sin or seek god’s help for themselves or others who may be suffering.
liturgical worship
this is formal prayers that have set responses, during the service there will be hymns sung, an example of liturgical worship is the celebrant of the eucharist for catholic, orthodox and Anglican churches.
non-liturgical
this is where there is not a set order, these are churches like Methodist, baptist and united reformed churches.
informal worship
quaker is mainly silent and people speak when they feel gods spirit telling them things.
private worship
this allows individuals to spend time with god either alone or with close friends or family. this involves prayer, meditation, studying or meditating on a bible passage.

prayer is communicating with god in silence or aloud, with others or alone, using aet prayers or informal prayer.
