-propositional, acceptance of truths revealed by god as propositions
-information passed by god which is about how to be saved from sin etc
-non prop, belief or faith in god, faith of a personal encounter with god

-propositional, knowing or accepting that something is so eg when your birthday is, it can be true or false or inbetween
-non prop, other kinds of knowledge eg learning how to do something through experience

-propositional, accepts the words of the bible are messages from god
-revealed directly to the reader through the words, fixed principles
-non prop, when god revealed himself in jesus he lived a human life
-the bible is a gateway to encounter the living god

-just because of the law of love doesnt mean there cant be other biblical commandments

-protestants believe the church grew from the bible and its a living source of access to god’s revelation

-the early church councils decided what was in the bible, tradition precedes the bible

-summarised in the catechism which provides an answer to moral issues, recognises the importance of the conscience in moral decisions

-each situation has a voice which love helps us to hear

-moral guidance grounded in love recognises traditional rules aswell as modern life/society
