Fundamentalists - believe the creation story is 100% true
Liberalists - believe that the creation story is symbolic
What is Incarnation
When Jesus became flesh of God. This gives his words authority.
What is Crucifixion
When Jesus was nailed to the cross on Good Friday. This helps Christians as it gives them authority that if they follow Jesus they will be saved.
Jesus said ‘Father forgive them’ showing how we should be forgiving.
What is Ressurection
Mary Magdalene visited the tomb and saw that the stone was empty from the Resurrection.
Why is the Resurrection good
It shows Christians God’s power and compassion.
It also shows God’s truthfulness as Jesus said he will come back to earth which became true.
Also shows Christians that they will be resurrected after death.
What is Ascension
After 40 days of Jesus’ resurrection, he ascended back into heaven, showing the power of God.
Also show how we will go to heaven and meet God.
Ascension also shows that God accepted him as an atonement for other people’s sins.
What is the Parable Of The Sheep And Goat
The sheep represents those who are good and help people.
However, the goats are those who are selfish.
What is Saved By Work and Saved By Grace
Saved By Works - doing good deeds will get them into heaven (Parable Of The Sheep And Goat).
Saved By Grace - the belief in God will get people into heaven.
What is Original Sin
Belief that everyone is born with the urge to sin because of Adam and Eve.
What is Salvation
This is the belief that Christians were forgiven for their sins due to Jesus’ Crucifixion. because of this Jesus brought reconciliation between GOD AND MAN.
