jesus and his disciples had a meal where jesus spoke about his death to prepare them. gave them bread and wine. he said he knew one would betray him.

they were in the garden ‘gethsemane’ and then judas brought an armed crowd to take jesus away and kissed him to identify him. jesus was taken and found guilty of blasphemy and punished by death.
why is jesus death and resurrection important?
his death shows that he is actually human and his resurrection shows that he is god and better then everyone else.
what does salvation mean?
being saved from sin and the consequences of sin, going to heaven

what does atonement mean?
the action of restoring a relationship in christianity. jesus’ death restores the relationship between god and humans.

an area of christian theology which is concerned with life after death.

why is life after death important for christians?
