inquiry into the nature and source of knowledge, boundaries and justification
Relativism
belief that all truth is relative, being determined by some group
Subjectivism
belief that all truth is subjective, being defined by the perspective of that individual
Skepticism
belief that truth cannot be known with certainty
Perspectivism
belief that truth is found in the combined perspectives of many
Pragmatism
belief that truth is ultimately defined by that which works to accomplish the best outcome
Objectivism
belief that truth is an objective reality that exist whether someone believe or not
Postmodernism
no common ground exists anymore- you start with the truth of truth

Modern dates
1600 AD- 1960 AD

1960 AD- now
Modernism generation attitudes
Intellectual, reason, optimism, hope, objective, science method, man is evolving
Postmodern generation attitudes
anti-intellectictual, feelings, pessimism, despair, subjective/relativism, pluralism, distrust in science, man is devolving
