A truth table
Table that shows all the possible combinations of ones and zeros for the various letters in a given argument
Atomic sentence
What you call a sentence that is represented by a letter (like in truth tables)
Compound sentence
The sentence (conclusion) you get when you string together atomic sentences (premises)
Conjunction
The ‘and’ in this ‘and’ that
As in: (A&B)
(Truth Table) Tautology
What you call a sentence that has a ‘one’ under the connective in EVERY ROW of its truth table
Sentence is considered true as a matter of logic
(Truth Table) contradiction
What you call a sentence that has a ‘zero’ under the connective in EVERY ROW of its truth table
(Truth table) Contingent
What you call a sentence that is neither a tautology nor a contradiction according to its truth table
Logical equivilance
What you call it when two sentences have the same ‘truth value’ for their truth tables

Has at least one line that indicates the sentence/conclusion is true
Inconsistent (truth table)
A truth table doesn’t have at least one line where the atomic sentences are all true
Valid (truth table)
What you call it when a truth table has no instances where the rows are all ones but the conclusion is zero (or vice versa)
Disjunction
The ‘or’ in this or that
