Location, width, and association
What is the mean?
The sum of values divided by sample size
What is the median?
The middle measurement
What is the mode?
The most common individual
What does the width of a graph also represent?
The variability
What is the range?
The difference between the largest and the smallest value
What is the interquartile range?
The difference between the 25th and the 75th percentile
What is variance and standard deviation?
The difference between a random sample and the mean
What is the coefficient of variation?
It is the measure of the standard deviation expressed as a percentage of the mean
What is the variance?
It is the expected squared difference between observations and the mean
What is the proportion?
It is the number of observations in a category of interest over the total number of observations in all categories
