Arranging and ordering a dance to best realize a choreographing intention, which could include binary, episodic, narrative, etc.
What is involved in refining?
Narrowing down ideas and making minor changes and alterations to choreographic content to ensure the best outcome.
What does generating ideas entail?
Coming up with ideas, which could be done using mind mapping and research.
Improvising
Experimentation through dancing spontaneously without preparation in attempt to innovate creative and unique movement content that works with the accompaniment.
Developing
Advancing choreography, such as using motif development and incorporating different ADSR content.
