How does a person contact the disease?

A

Mostly by unsafe water and food that has been contaminated with human feces containing the bacteria.

Symptoms of cholera?

A

Diarrhea, vomiting, muscle cramp and weakness.
When severe, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. This may result in sunken eyes, cold skin and wrinkling of the hands and feet.
Bluish skin, fever and blood pressure drops.
Seizures or even coma due to electrolyte imbalance are common especially in children
