These are the most used chinese characters!

Pinyin ~the standard system of romanized spelling for transliterating Chinese. This will help you learn how to pronounce chinese characters!
But before we get started on that we must learn what the chinese tones are!
These are the four tones!
flat
rising
falling-rising
falling
In order to pronounce chinese characters you MUST learn these four tones! These will allow you to make sure you are saying certain words correctly!
For example:
nǐ (你) – You
ní (泥) – Mud/Clay
They both sound very similar but pronounced with a different/wrong tone will definately stir up the wrong conversation!

There are some pinyin letters that are not pronounced like regular english letters! They are just used to english speakers have an easier time learning the pronunciation of chinese characters!
