China inequalities essay Flashcards
An explanation of Healthcare inequalties in China
Health insurance is covered in part by your line of employment and some also comes out of your own money. this means that those in higher paying jobs will be able to afford better healthcare than those in lower paying jobs despite your work covering some of the costs
statistics about healthcare inequalities
Chinese citizens still have to pay for a third of their healthcare.
What does this healthcare statistic mean forthe system.
Because they are still paying for a significant amount of their healthcare this means that it can be quite an unequal system because some will not be able to pay this.
Counterpoint about healthcare inequalities
Healthcare inequalities cannot be solely blamed on income and insurance as lifestyle factors also play a part in causing these inequalities.
Evidence of Lifestyle factors playing a role
