Impaired immunity
Recent trauma/surgery
Indwelling lines/catheters etc
Lower threshold for suspicion of sepsis in this case
What is the childhood sepsis 6?
Give high flow oxygen Give IV or IO antibiotics Take blood tests Consider fluid resus Involve senior specialists Consider inotropic support early
