Isaiah 54:13
All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.
Deut 6:4-9
Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Psalm 127
Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it. Unless the Lord guards the city the watchmen stay awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
Psalm 128
Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labour of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, and your children like olive plants all around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
The Lord bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!
Psalm 144:12-15
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as pillars, sculptures in palace style. That our barns may be full, supplying all kinds of produce; that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; that our oxen may be well laden; that there be no breaking in or going out; that there be no outcry in the streets. Happy are the people who are in such a state; happy are the people whose God is the Lord!
Ephesians 6:4
Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath but rather bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.
