DTP: Diptheria (bullneck thing), tetanus, pertussis (whooping)
Hib: Haemophilus influenza type B (epiglottitis - emergency req intubation)
Hep B
Polio
Pneumococcus
Rotavirus (common cause diarrhoea amongst infants and small children)

Side effects of vaccinations?

A

Local - red, sore (normal), possibly infection

Systemic - may get slight fever, malaise afterwards
(can give paracetamol)

Allergy - anaphylaxis. V rare, but can be managed in doctor’s office if this occurs.
