Fall onto hyperextended arm
Brachial artery, ulnar nerve

Management of fracture eg supracondylar
A
Theatre
- general anaesthesia
- reduce fracture
- stabilise with eg k wires and plaster cast

Post op management of fracture with k wires and plaster
A
Upper limb - remove in 4 weeks
Encourage to mobilise
Lower limb - movement restricted/immobilised for 6-8 weeks
Check for paraesthesia in distal limb
