A

Theatre

  • general anaesthesia
  • reduce fracture
  • stabilise with eg k wires and plaster cast

Post op management of fracture with k wires and plaster

A

Upper limb - remove in 4 weeks
Encourage to mobilise

Lower limb - movement restricted/immobilised for 6-8 weeks

Check for paraesthesia in distal limb
