What are the defences to Section 1 Child Abduction? (5 Points)

A
  1. They have a child arrangements order and the child is taken out of the UK for less than one month.
  2. The special guardian takes the child out of the UK for less than 3 months.
  3. He does so in belief that the other person either consents or would consent given the circumstances.
  4. he has taken reasonable steps to communicate with the other person
  5. The other person has unreasonably refused to consent.
