what are the two common fields that children worked in?
coal harrier (boys would do that) , the trapper opened the door in the mines( youngest member would do) hauling coal up ladders(women), textile industry (children), sometimes chimney sweeping(young boys).
what injures could occur
lung infection, lung cancer, amputation limbs, cuts, bruises and sometimes death.
why did these injures occur
unsafe working environment with long hours causing more injures too occur because of exhaustion.
why did children have to work?
their fathers would lose their jobs because it was more expensive to hire a man than a child or woman therefore children was the better alternative.
did the manger care about the conditions
no, if someone was injured internally they could hire another child desperate for a job.
