Sits unsupported, able to stand, may be able to walk. Pincer grasp. Can stack 2 blocks. Knows when an object has fallen out of sight. Feed self with spoon. Stranger anxiety. Waves bye bye. Says mama or dada for mum and dad specifically. Points to things of interest.
What are some things a 2 year old can do?
Run. Circular scribbles. Start joining words together. Parallel play.
What is parallel play and what age does this start to occur?
When two or more toddlers play near one another or next to one another, but without interacting directly (they don’t play WITH each other). They will sometimes be observing and even mimicking the other child. Occurs from around 2 years.
