Global Development Delay
Delays in multiple domains of development
Motor skills of neonates
High flexor tone
Alternating movements of symmetric flexion and extension that vary in strength depending on state of arousal
Asymmetric Tonic Neck Reflex
When an infant moves their head (passively or actively) to one side, they extend arm and leg on the face side and flex extremities on the contralateral side
Disappears by 4-6 months

Disappears by 4 months
Protective extension
A postural reaction
