a muscle on the upper back that originates in the occipital bone and the spine, and inserts into the clavicle and spine. It elevates the clavicle and scapula, and rotates and abducts the scapula

rhomboids
two muscles on the upper back which elevate the clavicle and scapula, rotate, abduct and depress scapula
serratus anterior (boxer’s muscle)
a muscle on the side of the chest that abducts and rotates the scapula forwards, and elevates the ribs when the scapula is fixed
exercise that can strengthen the serratus anterior
pushups
deltoids
muscles on the shoulder that abduct the arm at the shoulder joint, flexes and rotates the arm at the shoulder joint, and extends and laterally rotates the shoulder joint
