CHEMOTHERAPY DRUGS PRECAUTIONS

Rn wear PPE: long sleeve gown with nonpermeable sleeves and tight wrist bands , 2 pairs of chemo gloves, gowns, safety goggles, shoe covers & respiratory mask + special absorbents pads, yellow waste bags, a power absorvent packs, spill towels, & Chemo Spill sign . Special training to administer chemo drugs , and special instruction to how utilize individual spill kit. pregnant nurse can NOT administer, provide care for cliemts receiving chemotherapy. Use only absorbents pads to CYtOTOXiC DrUGs
