How are sedimentary Rocks Formed?
Sedimentary rocks are formed when other rocks are broken down in to smaller pieces and are transported by water and wind. When the pieces of rock stop moving, they are deposited(dropped) as sediments.
How are the types of rocks form?
1: Limestone ___ (roads and making cement)
2: Sandstones ___ ( building material ) –> Drive way.
3: Pumice ___ (bath scrubs)
4: Granite ___ (Slabs, tiles, floor, Countertops. )
5: Marble ___ (Statue and Decoration)
6: Slate ___ {Roof}–> (roofing material)
7: Chalk ___ {Writing}
How are the types of rocks form?
Igneous rocks- cooling of molten rocks.
Sedimentary rocks- small pieces which laid down layers.
Metamorphic rocks- another rock is under heat and pressure

Magma and Lava
How do Igneous rocks form
It is formed when the molten rocks (Lava or Magma) cools and Solidifies.
What depends the size of the crystals in Igneous rocks?
It depends on how slowly the magma cools and solidifies.
What type of rock is Granite?
is an intrusiveigneous rock.
How do Granite formed?
At the surface of the Earth Lava cools and solidifies quickly so the crystals are small.
What is Lava?
Magma at the Earth’s surface.

Molten Rocks found below the earth surface.
What is Mineral?
Solid substance with a fix chemical composition.
What is Crystals?
Solid in which the particles are arrange in a regular pattern.

The amount of empty spaces in a material
What is Weathering?
Breaking down rocks and minerals.
