what is diffusion
Diffusion is the movement of a gas or liquid from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.
Example of diffusion
spraying perfume as the perfume has more scent in the area it was sprayed and slowly loosing it when going further

when people heat a substance it gets more enegy causing the particles to vibrate as they do this it spreads apart making it expand
