When a chemical change happens is there a new substance that is made?
Yes during a chemical change there will be a new substance that is created
When there is a physical change will a new substance be created?
During a physical change you may see a colour change but no new substance will be created
What is a displacement reaction?
A displacement reaction is were a more reactive metal takes the place / pushes out the metal that is less reactive
A fire need fuel, heat and oxygen to stay alive what do you need to do to cause the fire to dry out
In order to put fire out you just need to remove one ( fuel, heat or oxygen ) if you remove any of these the fire will not longer be able to stay alive
Why happens when a metal corrodes?
When a metal corrodes the metal breaks down but if the metal is iron than it will rust which means it needs water as well as oxygen to corrode
