State why you cannot compress a liquid
Because the particles are touching and continuasly sliding over each other
What is an element
A substance that cannot be broken down into other substances
What is a monecule
A monecule is a group of two or more atoms strongly joined together
What is a compound

What is meant by a mixture
A mixture contains two or more substances that could be elements or compounds
Describe how to make sure the sample of a substance is pure
If the sample has the same melting or boiling point as the substance, then we can confirm that the substance is pure
What is a solution
A type of mixture involving two or more substances
When you add sugar to water what are they named
